Is There Something on My Face?

One of mine and Kev's post-meal rituals is to do a teeth check as we leave the restaurant. Yeah, it's gross, but when you have big chompers like me, having something stuck in your teeth is quite noticeable. And what good is it to have a husband if he won't tell you that you have saved some salad in your teeth for later?

Seka isn't as worried about such embarrassing situations. It was time to wash the evil Orvis bed's cover last week. This is a task I don't do very often because those stupid pellets that stuff the bed seem to escape and make my living room look like a snow globe that needs to be shaken.

The evil Orvis bed has become Seka's favorite. I have no idea why since she avoided it for the first six months it was in our house. Trying to be a nice mommy, I brought the bed back upstairs after removing the cover so she could have her mid-evening (7p-9p) nap in her favorite spot.

I didn't think much of it until a loud noise on the TV woke her up  and I caught a glimpse of her face. Instead of being a good mom and immediately removing the embarrassing white balls, I grabbed my camera (I was a good blogger instead).

Since we started cooking rice and chicken for our pups, they almost always have rice grains stuck about their faces after they eat. The static cling in those styro balls just ups the ante on the fun, doesn't it?

How funny! I bet you could have arranged the pellets into star constellations.

What choice? Grab the camera every time :) I bet when she sneezes, a new pattern forms on her nose.

I am just happy that you weren't balancing valium on her nose. I seriously wondered why you were putting pills on her nose. Was it some sort of trick? HAS SHE LOST HER MIND?!

Ah, no. It's faux snaux.

She must be one of those blacks that doesn't grey much. Her face is so beautiful... she doesn't look a day over 2! Teresa was like that. Even at 12, she was still very black and hardly any grey.
